The Kyles 10 Miles road race, under 2 hours from Glasgow, has already become one of the most stunning runs in Scotland. The route covers part of Argyll’s Secret Coast which is a little known area of natural beauty on the west coast of Scotland. The circular route is a gem, once uncovered never forgotten, with majestic mountains and a secluded coastal road providing the runner with amazing views and challenges.

The Tighnabruaich Pier Association hold an annual gala day in July every year withstalls and food.  The PS Waverley joins in the fun and calls at the pier to take those that wish on a tour of about one hour mid-afternoon. Excellent local entertainment.

The Kyles Allotment Group runs regular Producers’ Markets in Kames Hall, where, along with lots of other local producers, KAG sell their surplus veg. There is normally a spring market, a couple of summer markets, an autumn market and a fabulously festive Christmas market.
