Terms  and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to stay at Carry Farm, we look forward to welcoming you to our little patch of paradise.  Please take a moment to read through a few important details.

Booking

For stays less than 90 days away please contact us within 24 hours if you wish to amend or cancel your booking, this will be done free of charge. Providing that your stay is more than 12 weeks away, we allow a 7 day period in which you can cancel your booking free of charge, after which you are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions.

Number of Occupants

Each lodge has an advertised maximum number of occupants, equal to the number of beds, which must not be exceeded.  We are unable to take bookings for stag parties, hen parties or student groups unless by prior arrangement.

Deposit

At  the point of booking you will be asked to pay a deposit to the value of  25% of the booking.  The balance is due 42 days prior  to your arrival.

Non payment of full charge

Non receipt of the full accommodation charged at the time specified above will be treated as a cancellation of reservation and the deposit will be forfeited.  The booking will then be subject to the cancellation procedure outlined below where the whole cost of the holiday accommodation will become due.

Cancellation

We understand that life does not always go according to plan. If your booking is  cancelled more than 90 days before arrival then a full refund will be made.  If the  booking  is cancelled less than 90 days, but more than 30 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full  deposit will be retained.   Less than 30 days prior to arrival, the full cost of your stay is due. We recommend that you take out insurance to protect yourself against the financial loss if you sadly have to cancel your booking.

Change of Date

Where  possible, if you cannot make your original holiday date, we will always look at transferring your stay to an alternative date, if more than 90 days before arrival.   However, this is entirely at managements discretion, and if not possible, the normal  cancellation charges apply.

Non Payment of Full Charge

If full payment for your accommodation has not been received 30 days prior to arrival, we will send regular emails reminding you of the overdue balance.  If this is not paid within 7 days, Carry Farm will cancel your booking, retain the deposit and claim against you for the financial loss.

Arrival and Departure

Check in time is from 4pm on your day of arrival with check out on departure day of no later than 10am.  It would be hugely appreciated if you could respect the check in/out times to ensure we can clean the accommodation to a high standard for the next guests.

Young children

Carry Farm is a fantastic spot for children to run feral and free.  However, please be aware that it is also an inherently dangerous location for young children.  The proximity to the sea, farm equipment and animals can be hazardous, and young children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.  A high chair and travel cot can be supplied if available, but please ensure you bring your own bedding for the cot.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs are welcome at Carry Farm, but must stay  on a lead at all times, the free range hens and ducks prefer it that way!  Please keep dogs off furniture and out the bedrooms and remove all traces of dog hairs before leaving.  We reserve the right to charge extra for any cleaning made necessary by your pets.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly forbidden inside any of our accommodation units and extra cleaning charges will be levied if curtains etc need removing and cleaning due to stale smoke.  When smoking outside, please dispose of any cigarette butts responsibly.

Damage and cleaning

Any damage caused to the property or any  equipment lost, damaged or broken during occupancy should be reported and paid for.  If you leave the property in poor condition resulting in additional cleaning, you may be invoiced for the excess work required and we may refuse to take a booking from you again.

Thank you for taking the time to read our Terms and Conditions which  are inherently boring, but exist to protect us all.
