Our Lodges

Our three lodges are nestled between our ancient Hazel woodland to the west and beach to the east, overlooking the Isle of Bute.

Heron and Buzzard sleep four each (couple discounts available), are next door to each other and are identical in every way. They share an open field with our Sandpiper lodge sleeping 6, and several privately owned lodges.

Once  inside the lodges, all the open plan living rooms are bright and airy with art and textiles by Eve Campbell and Dreywork Shop, both who have their studios at  Carry Farm.

We believe a good night sleep under luxurious feather bedding is the basics of a restorative break.  And for that perfect morning coffee we provide only the best in coffee machines.

The Moccamaster is a seriously good bit of kit, handbuilt in the Netherlands, and combined with Argyll Coffee’s local speciality coffee is the perfect start to any day. And with the Argyll Coffee’s bar at Carry Farm, there is no need to jump in the car for more supplies!

It’s easy to live outside when you open your door to amazing scenery.  Evening fires on the beach, enjoying the dark skies, watching red squirrels scamper through the trees and perhaps a paddle in the sea. Life does not get much better.

Our 60 acres of coastal wilderness is a heavenly playground for children.  Let those that are a little older roam free and explore the woodland, beach comb or feed  the donkeys. Carry Farm has already brought up three feral children, and young explorers will find evidence of previous occupants dens in the woods!

Meanwhile you could sneak away for a visit to the Hayshed Gallery and Argyll Coffee shop in our  yard.
