It may not be what you expect to do on Argyll's Secret Coast, but we do have some lovely galleries and local shops to enjoy during your stay.

Carry Farm is home to the Hayshed Gallery, a new space for exhibiting textiles and ceramics all made on site and is slowly establishing itself as a creative hub for the area. Also situated at Carry Farm is the lovely Argyll Botany Company who carefully select skincare ingredients, grown locally, using plant based ways of the past to nourish and protect our skin and Argyll Coffee Roasters coffee bar with a fantastic selection of coffee kit on offer.

Tighnabruaich Gallery is situated in the village, a 5 minute drive from Carry Farm. Long established as one of the finiest galleries in the west, it endeavours to bring dynamic and engaging works to rural Scotland, alongside contemporary art and crafts from a range of established and emerging talents.

Portavadie Marina has a well stocked shop stocking the best of active outdoor kit from Musto, Animal, Joules, Dubarry, Gill and Henry Lloyd.

And for the essentials of day to day living, do not forget the award winning Kames Village Store 2 miles from Carry Farm which stocks all the best locally sourced groceries you will need for your holiday.
