LOCATION

Carry Farm is located 2 miles from the villages of Kames and Tighnabruaich on the Ardlamont peninsula, located by the beach with unbroken views across the Kyles to the island of Bute.

We are under two hours from Glasgow via Loch Lomond and Loch Long and into the Cowal Peninsula on the A815 before Cairndow. Alternatively, use the Western Ferry crossing at Gourock on the Clyde coast, giving direct access to Cowal at Dunoon, a 40 minute drive from Tighnabruaich. The last 15 minutes are spectacular as you climb over the mountains and enjoy the unparalleled views of the Kyles of Bute before you descend into Tighnabruaich.

Our postcode PA21 2AH will take you to the golf course three miles from us, so please do not use your sat nav in the village. Once you come down the hill to the shore at Tighnabruaich, take a right turn and continue for half a mile to the cross roads with the war memorial and Tide and Thyme, where you turn left (there is a sign in a garden pointing to Carry Farm). Follow this road to the shore head where you head right towards Ardlamont. Carry Farm is two miles from the last house, you will not miss our red roof!

You will find Carry Farm is perfectly located if you would like to get out and about. The Caledonian MacBrayne ferry across Loch Fyne is a ten minute drive from us and gives easy access to the islands of Arran, Gigha and Islay, as well as the Kintyre peninsula and historic Kilmartin Glen. Oban, the gateway to the Highlands, is a two hour drive from Carry Farm.

A 25 minute drive will take you to the short crossing at Colintraive to the island of Bute, again with Caledonian MacBrayne.
