Fantastic site with wonderful views and location. Camping virtually on the foreshore was lovely and enabled firelighting adjacent to the tent.

Camping at Carry Farm is very special, with tents pitched beside the shore. Wake up in the morning to the sound of the oystercatchers, eider ducks and waves lapping on the pebbles.  This is wild camping at its best - with facilities a few minutes walk up the track.

And because you are right beside the shore, a fire can be lit on the beach next to your tent for cooking the essential sausages and toasting marshmallows.

Sleeping under canvas at Carry Farm provides the perfect opportunity to study the night sky in all its glory and if you are very lucky, the aurora borealis will amaze you with a light show.

A short walk away is the modern toilet and shower facilities with an under cover washing area and laundry facilities.  The facilities are family friendly, consisting of two spacious toilets and two showers. Plenty of hooks provide essential hanging areas for wet outside gear.

We are very conscious of limiting the light pollution in an area with such stunning dark skies and therefore the facilities are lit with natural light only.  During the long summer evening this is not a problem, but PLEASE BRING A TORCH WITH YOU IN CASE OF A MIDNIGHT VISIT!

Camping at Carry Farm is particularly appealing to kayakers. Paddling into the bay and pitching your tent on the shore by your kayak could not be easier.

To ensure we stay quiet, we limit the number of tents we take, booking is essential to avoid disappointment.
